Meridian facelift now available with a 5-seater base variant.

Jeep has revealed the updated Meridian in India, with prices climbing from ₹24.99 lakh. The facelifted model now gets both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations with a lower entry price (by ₹6.24  lakh) than its predecessor. Bookings are now open with deliveries beginning later this month.

The new Meridian comes in four trims The base Longitude trim is only available as a 5-seater, while the rest are offered only as 7-seaters.

Jeep Meridian facelift: Powertrain

The Meridian retains its 170hp, 350Nm, 2.0-litre diesel engine, paired with a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission. Both 4×2 and 4×4 drivetrain options are available.

On the outside, the Meridian facelift gets a mildly updated grille with a honeycomb mesh design donning chrome studs and redesigned 18-inch alloy wheels (similar to pre-facelift Overland). 

Inside, the cabin features a refreshing suede dashboard finish, copper stitching, and new beige upholstery. Key tech features like the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment, Alpine audio system,  wireless charger, and ventilated front seats remain.

The top-spec Overland trim now includes a Level 2 ADAS suite with adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and forward collision warning. It also gets an expanded list of connected car tech, including Alexa Home to vehicle integration.

Moreover, the 5-seater variant gets 670 litres of boot space, while the 7-seater variant offers up to 824 litres with the second row folded. The 7-seater has a functioning boot space of 170 litres with all three rows up.
